Reminder! SBA SOP 50 10 8.1 takes effect October 1 and includes several important changes to the 504 and 7(a) programs. For 504 lenders, key changes affect debt service coverage, bank loan structure, underwriting requirements for larger projects, construction projects and refinancing. The new SOP also makes significant changes to 7(a) business acquisition financing.
