A lot of buyers focus only on negotiating the sales price down… but sometimes negotiating seller concessions to buy down the interest rate can create a LOWER monthly payment. 👀

Example:

🏡 Option 1
Loan Amount: $392,000
Rate: 6.75%
Principal & Interest: ~$2,542/month

🏡 Option 2
Loan Amount: $400,000
Seller contributes $8,000 toward rate buydown
Rate: 6.125%
Principal & Interest: ~$2,431/month
