We are halfway through the price discovery period for the harvest price of corn and soybeans!

The Harvest Price Discover Period will begin this coming Wednesday! The Harvest Price is determined by the average daily close futures price of December corn and November soybeans during October. This price is then used to determine whether your crop insurance policy has a price-related loss.

For reference, the Spring Price for corn is $4.62 and soybeans is $11.09. Your Revenue Protection policy uses the higher of the Spring Price vs. the Harvest Price in the event of a claim.

One week left before the wheat sales closing date of September 30th. If you haven't made your elections for the 2027 winter wheat crop, be sure to do so as soon as possible!

The 2027 crop insurance price for KY Winter Wheat has been set! This will be the price guarantee for your revenue protection policy.
