Our final winter outdoor prep tip is be ready for snow removal! The salt and gravel will fly off the shelves the weekend before a big snow, so go ahead and stock up now! I do not think that Fluffy would be the best helper, but make sure your shovels are in good working condition!!! ❄

I am sure this is not the sight you want to see yet, but it is an important reminder! Check on the trees in and around your property! A weak tree will only get worse with the weight of ice and snow!!! Check before it is too late and a tree is heading towards the roof of your house!😳

The fireplace for some people becomes the seasonal spot to read a good book, drink some coffee or just take a nap! Of course they provide that cozy seasonal warmth but without proper maintenance could become a dangerous hazard for your family. Before using the fireplace too much this season, make sure to check the flue and clear out any soot and ashes! And if you cannot remember the last time a certified chimney sweep was performed, well now may be the perfect time!
