I believe the importance of investing and planning doesn't show up on a monthly statement or in a balance sheet; it shows up in the improved wellbeing of my clients, their families and the communities and organizations that they are able to support as a result. As a financial advisor, I have enjoyed building long-term relationships with my clients that enable them to live the lives they love while
giving generously and leaving a legacy for those that follow. My calm nature is appreciated by clients, especially during times of uncertainty. I believe in staying curious and learning something new every day. I read voraciously on topics both within my industry and others that catch my attention. As a lifelong learner, I earned the AAMS® designation to better serve my clients. I am often introduced to individuals when they are experiencing periods of change; as they grow their families, sell a business, approach retirement or receive an inheritance. It is during these times that planning is essential. I am proud to serve a diverse group of clients across many states as they plan for the future. I particularly enjoy working with clients that share my curiosity for the world, have complex financial needs and want a financial advisor they can actively collaborate with. In my community, I am a member of the Rotary Club of Bangor, the Bangor Mechanic Association and the Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce, and serve as a finance committee member for Carrabassett Valley Academy. I have also supported the Bangor Public Library, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, Bangor Adult Education, Kingfield POPS, Webster Free Library and the Michael J. In addition to providing outstanding service to our clients since 2016, my branch office administrator, Bridget Olmstead, coordinates our region's support for each of the Walk to End Alzheimer's® events in Maine. I was raised in Maine, and my wife, Sarah, and I are proud to call Bangor home. My family and I enjoy traveling, reading, golf, riding our bikes, running and hiking. I spend most winter weekends on the ski slopes with our daughter, Laura.
