☀️ With summer officially in full swing, your air conditioner will soon be working overtime and a little maintenance can go a long way in keeping your electric bill in check!💰💵

Start by cleaning or replacing your filter, a dirty filter makes your AC work harder and use more energy than it needs to. While you are at it clear any debris from around your outdoor unit, make sure vents inside are open and unblocked, and consider setting your thermostat a degree or two higher when you are not home. A little TLC on your AC can make a noticeable difference on your energy bill all summer long!

Have any unwanted pests started making a move on your home yet this summer? Here are some tips to keep them out! ❌

🐜 Remove sources of food, water, and shelter.
🐜 Store food in sealed containers. Keep food scraps in covered trash cans and remove garbage regularly.
🐜 Fix leaky plumbing and avoid water accumulation. Don’t leave pet food and water out overnight.
🐜 Eliminate clutter like stacks of newspapers, magazines, or cardboard.
🐜 Seal entry points and hiding spots. Caulk cracks, fill gaps with steel wool, and cover holes with wire mesh.

🐜 Check packages for pests before bringing them inside.
