There’s something special about celebrating Independence Day in a small town —
flags lining the streets, kids with sparklers, lake days, backyard cookouts, parades,
fireworks, and neighbors who feel more like family.
Days like today are such a good reminder that “home” means much more than a
house. It’s the community around you. It’s the memories made in the backyard,
around the table, at the ball field, or down by the water.
I’m grateful to live and work in a place where hometown means something special.
