Just a reminder all branches of Bancroft State Bank will close at 3pm on Friday, December 2. There will be no evening hours and we will be closed Saturday, December 3rd. We are closed so we can merge the two bank's systems.

There was a fee on the brochures called "check cashing". This fee only applies to non customers cashing checks. Just FYI.

We have made arrangements to give you a no fee ATM at the Plainfield Amoco just because you bank with us! This is when you use your new Portage County Bank debit card or ATM card to withdraw cash.

Our hours will continue to be the same after the merger with Friday night and Saturday hours. We are however, expanding the Plainfield office hours to 4:30 on week days. Our office in Plainfield will be the full service branch. The Portage County Bank office in Plainfield will also be open for a few months but for drive up only.

The new debit cards were mailed this week. They are the chip cards so more secure. You should activate the card now but do not use it until December 5th. Our old cards will work until December 5th.
