Hey FB Family, so...clearly if you follow me you know I'm a Realtor & that I own a Mortgage Branch. One of the things I frequently do is help people with their credit & help people assess their homebuying readiness. I don't charge 1 penny to do that, bless others & you'll be blessed--that's how life works & that's what I live by. So, I have something really cool that I'm going to give you all for free (I had to pay A LOT for it so PLEASE by all means use it). It is going to give you your credit score and if you like you'll have an option to share it with me and if homeownership is on the table for you, we'll talk. If there are some credit challenges, I'll help you navigate that too.

Rent is 100% interest, when you pay it, you will never see it again. You never have to wonder if you can afford to pay a mortgage, you can...you already do, it's just someone else's. Don't think for 1 second someone is letting you stay in their property for less than what their mortgage costs them. Let's start YOUR generational wealth. Be mindful, when you pay a mortgage, you are building equity...if you fall on hard times, you have equity you can look to for assistance; however, you will never have that satisfaction & peace of mind with rent. It's your time to take what is yours in life.

Just got finished speaking at the Baltimore County Office of Family Self-Sufficiency. I was teaching everything there is to know about homeownership and becoming a homeowner. The specific group that I was speaking to was group of about 60 people who are on section 8 currently. To their surprise, I came with a special guest…it was someone who was sitting in the audience last year when I spoke, someone who is now a homeowner. There is nothing to make them realize that they can be next more than actually showing up with someone who was in their shoes.

It is such a blessing to be able to share my knowledge and help the underserved & often forgotten…many people in my industry would not want to wake up early & work on their Saturday; however, I can’t imagine spending mine any differently!
