BREAKFAST OF CHAMPIONS
On our way to La Paz, Mexico. They tell you to arrive at the airport 3 hours before international flights so we had to arrive at LAX at 7:30 for a 10:30 flight. That means leaving Bakersfield at 5:30 AM. Then, on the way, I got a notification that our flight was delayed for an hour. We get to LAX at 7:30. By the time we check our bags, get boarding passes, and get through TSA it’s 8:30, so we have 2-1/2 hours to kill before we board. Time for a tequila sunrise. It’s happy hour somewhere.

Hey Facebook friends, I just dropped my latest blog. It’s a little history of the doubleheader in Major League Baseball and my recent trip to Coors Field to see the Rockies play the Dodgers. It’s my 59th blog and the last one for awhile. I’ll still be posting occasionally as I have truly enjoyed this but putting in 60-65 hours a week at work AND trying to find the time to write 2-4,000 words each week is exhausting. So I’m going to step away and use the time to update my website and work on some other projects. But I should be back at it in 2023. Until then remember to always swing for the fences.
