If you are looking at becoming a homeowner in 2024, here are three tips to help you get closer to your goal:

Tip 1: Speak with a lender and get your budget

Speaking with a lender is going to ensure that you don’t waste your time.

Your lender is going to analyze your income/Assets and Employment history to determine if you qualify for a home and how much you qualify for

Tip 2: Work on your credit.

If you have any payments get caught up on your payments,
If you have any credit cards with high balances, try to pay them down as low as possible.
(30% or less for best results )

Tip 3: Start before you are ready

If you know that you want to purchase a home in the future, you want to get a game plan going as soon as possible so you know what you need to work on and in what timeline.

The gameplan will highlight your personal goals and things you need to work on so you can have enough time to work on those things
