Since opening its doors on October 7, 1974, the owners (over 300 local stockholders) have watched the institution steadily grow year after year, from one million dollars in assets to 560 million. First Port City Bank was proud to be part of the 2nd Annual First-Time Home Buyers Seminar hosted by the Southwest Georgia Board of Realtors Diversity Committee on October 12 at Bonnie Blue House.

Shea Campbell represented the bank as a panelist, sharing information about our mortgage options, grants, down payment assistance, financing, and the difference between pre-qualification and pre-approval.

There was definitely a lot of buzz in the room!

Our First Port City Bees—Donna Skeen, Summer West, and Elias Guerrero—represented First Port City Bank at the Bainbridge-Decatur United Way’s first-ever Adult Spelling Bee!

While words like caterpillar and lanai may have stung a little, our team had a great time supporting a wonderful cause and helping raise funds for local nonprofits that make a difference in our community.
