Earlier this week, I had the opportunity to host a workshop focused on Long-Term Care strategy and the role it plays in a well-rounded financial plan.

We discussed why planning before a health event matters, common misconceptions around long-term care, and how proactive strategies can help protect both assets and family members.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to a great discussion. If this is a topic you’ve been meaning to learn more about, I’m always happy to continue the conversation.

Research shows that those who retire without structure, purpose or social connection experience faster cognitive decline, higher rates of depression, even shortened life expectancy. Learn more.

A fulfilling retirement begins with a blueprint for living, rather than simply the accumulation of a large nest egg. Financial freedom is meaningful only when it supports a life of purpose, connection and vitality.

💡 Want to see your money work for you — not against you? Check out this great article from NASAA on compound interest:

Why it matters:

Compound interest isn’t just interest — it’s “interest on interest,” which can make your investments grow faster over time.

Start early, be consistent, and let time be your ally. Even small amounts invested regularly can make a big difference.

On the flip side, compound interest can also hurt if you carry high-interest debt. The article gives examples of how debt can balloon if you’re not careful.

🚨 Did you know that 20%–46% of Americans have no retirement savings? (Investopedia)

Many are relying only on Social Security, which usually covers just ~40% of pre-retirement income — far from enough for housing, health care, and daily life.

Even small, consistent contributions to a 401(k) or IRA can make a huge difference over time. The key is to start now. Your future self will thank you! 🙌

At least a quarter of the U.S. population appears to have no retirement savings, which, if not addressed, could weigh on the entire country.
