The funeral service of a Pearl Harbor hero—finally laid to rest after 83 years. 🇺🇸💔
After all this time, he has been identified and brought home to his family with the dignity and respect he deserves.

A powerful reminder that our nation never forgets its own. ❤️🤍💙

Please join us on Tuesday, October 21, at 1 p.m. for the WWII KIA burial service for U.S. Navy Storekeeper 3rd Class Robert Stillman Garcia. Mr. Garcia served aboard the USS California during the attack on Pearl Harbor, when he tragically lost his life at age 23. His remains were officially identified on April 14, 2025, by the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency. We are honored to bring Mr. Garcia home to rest. 🇺🇸 We’re grateful to share that the Unaccompanied Veteran Burial for Sergeant Major David C. Phillips, originally scheduled for August 6th, has been canceled—his next of kin has been found.

A heartfelt thank you to the Warriors Remembrance Foundation (WRF) for their dedication and efforts in locating his family. Because of their work, Sergeant Major Phillips will be reunited with his loved ones. ❤️🤍💙

🚨Family members have been located! Thanks to the efforts of the Warriors Remembrance Foundation, family members of Sergeant Major David C. Phillips have been located, and they will proceed with a private, family ceremony. The Unaccompanied Veteran Burial service at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery is canceled. We are grateful for the unwavering support of the WRF and their work to reunite a Veteran at rest with his family🇺🇸
