We are a small bookkeeping company based out of Austin, Texas. The owner and the managing bookkeeper are both enrolled in CPA programs in a continuous effort to expand the company’s accounting base of knowledge. We assist a variety of clients owning small to medium sized businesses. The businesses include salons, legal firms, restaurants, media production, graphic design and others. One of our bookkeepers manages personal spending for a few of the owners as well. Stephanie, the owner, is also the accounting manager for one of the subsidiaries of a publicly traded company.

The level of bookkeeping we provide ranges from high-intensity money management to simply providing advice on how to use QuickBooks. We file sales and use taxes, handle payroll, provide cash flow statements, create budgets using Excel, and monitor bank or credit card accounts.

Payroll Services – currently offered for companies with 50 employees or less.
Setup of an EFTPS account is required. All payroll tax payments will be submitted electronically.
Hourly rate is $77.00.

Payroll Services - $77.00 Per Hour - Includes:
Payroll - Up to 50 People
Each payroll is charged at the following rates:
1-3 people – 10 min - $13.09
4-5 people – 15 min - $19.25
6-7 people – 20 min - $26.18
Etc.
Quarterly and Annual Filings (currently charged at 15 minutes per report)
Two filings per 1st, 2nd and 3rd quarters, and 3 filings on the 4th quarter
Payroll Set-Up - Includes:
General Company Set-Up (takes about 1 hour)
Payroll Tax Accounts Set-Up (such as TWC, EFTPS)
New Hire Reports (10 minutes per new employee)

Bookkeeping Software Platform
Be Square Bookkeeping currently offers a wholesale subscription to QuickBooks Online Plus as a pass-through expense to our clients, and is included on our clients’ monthly bills. Since this is a pass-through cost, this monthly rate will only go up when QuickBooks raises their rates. It’s about half the retail rate.

QuickBooks Online Plus Wholesale Subscription is charged at a pass-through rate.
Access can be shared with several users
Invoice your clients and receive online payments through QuickBooks
Capability to print your own checks for vendors

Bookkeeping Rates

Senior Bookkeeping Services - $80.00 Per Hour - Includes:
Sales and Payroll Tax Filings, and Recording / Reconciling in QuickBooks
Quarterly and Annual Bookkeeping Reviews
Budget & Cash Flow Projections

Managing Bookkeeper Services - $55.00 Per Hour - Includes:
New Client Start-Up and Catch-Up Bookkeeping
Regular Bookkeeping and Bookkeeper Consultations
Client Bookkeeping Training and Consultations

Regular Bookkeeper Services - $45 Per Hour - Includes:
Regular Bookkeeping
Client Consultations
Other Duties as Assigned

Are you looking to work in a fun open culture with a great Austin vibe? We are looking for a full charge bookkeeper for one of our clients. We are not a staffing agency. Our client is a fast growing e-commerce company located in Central Austin.

Requirements:

3+ years of bookkeeping experience preferred
Accounting degree preferred, but not required
Bookkeeper must have advanced Excel skills.
Bookkeeper will be required to take an Excel test
NetSuite experience preferred, but not required

Duties:

Bookkeeper will create and maintain multiple spreadsheets for inventory, vendor invoices, paid ads, etc.
Bookkeeper will be responsible for reviewing past due invoices and sending collection notices to customers
Bookkeeper will contact vendors for receipts
Bookkeeper will be responsible for filing and maintaining physical and electronic copies of contracts
Other bookkeeping tasks as assigned by bookkeeping supervisor
Bookkeeper position is 40 hours per week on site at our client's location Monday through Friday 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
