We talk about life insurance and put up a picture of our family as our "why" for buying life insurance. This is another "why" for me and a tough life lesson---the importance of renters insurance.

This was my apartment I shared with 2 roommates nearly two decades ago. 2/3 of us did NOT have renters' insurance.

Renters' insurance can cost as little as $15 a month.

Make sure you and your dependents have their own renter's insurance. Make sure you have enough property insurance to cover a total loss PLUS temporary being displaced, liability inside and outside of the home and so on. If you don't know what you have, please reach out and we will help you review your current coverage.
