Cyndi has called Texas home since 2022, enjoying the opportunity to explore the state and spending time visiting national parks. Outside of her travels, she loves life on her small farm, where she and her family care for dog, cats, goats, chickens, and ducks. She is a proud wife and mother of two, and enjoys balancing family life, outdoor adventures, and the simple joys of farm living.

No deductible for covered vandalism losses on or near school property or while at a school-sponsored event is my favorite Horace Mann benefit by far, teachers spend a lot of time on school property, you want this extra protection!

We talk about life insurance and put up a picture of our family as our "why" for buying life insurance. This is another "why" for me and a tough life lesson---the importance of renters insurance.

This was my apartment I shared with 2 roommates nearly two decades ago. 2/3 of us did NOT have renters' insurance.

Renters' insurance can cost as little as $15 a month.

Make sure you and your dependents have their own renter's insurance. Make sure you have enough property insurance to cover a total loss PLUS temporary being displaced, liability inside and outside of the home and so on.
