Austin’s all-white, all-male City Council forced Black families east of East Avenue (now I-35)
Water and sewer access were cut off until they moved
Mexican American families faced the same treatment

When it closed, a 17-story power plant replaced it
It powered downtown
Holly got the noise, pollution, and health impact

JUST GOT BANNED IN WASHINGTON STATE… 👀
Could Texas be next?

According to Realtor.com, Washington just passed a law banning private / “off-market” listings

Meaning 👇
If a home is being marketed… it must be available to the public

No more quietly sharing listings with a select group

📊 Here’s what’s happening across the country:
• Washington → Ban officially signed into law
• Wisconsin → Already has a similar ban in place
• Illinois, Hawaii, Connecticut → All have proposed similar legislation 

And this is being called a “warning shot” to the industry 

👀 So what about Texas?

There’s nothing in motion here yet…
but with multiple states already pushing this direction,
it’s something to watch closely

Because this all comes down to one thing:
