Sputnik ATX admits 8-12 startups per year. Selected startups get training, mentoring, office space and $100,000 investment. We are open to most industries and verticals, excluding weapons, alcohol, recreational drugs, porn/adult, real estate, multi-level marketing, franchises, and restaurants. Our curriculum is focused on gaining sales and traction, not so much pitching and fundraising. We invest

up to $400K in follow-on funding for our portfolio companies who are doing well after the program.

So, NVIDIA just rocked the AI world.

Uncle Huang triumphantly unveiled the most powerful GPU ever – Blackwell. With this beast, they can whip up a whole new generation of massive neural networks. Here’s the lowdown you need right now:

1. Scale – One Blackwell trumps the PS5 by 1,945 times! Huang’s pitching assembling cards into clusters of a whopping 100,000 accelerators.

2. It’s also 5 times faster than the previous Hopper chip, which came out just a year ago.

3. Training a hypothetical GPT-4 will now take just 90 days and 2,000 chips – down from 8,000 chips before.

4. Big players like Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, and Tesla are lining up to use these chips. Bottom line – In a couple of years, ChatGPT’s gonna seem like a primitive to you.

Ann is a triple Harvard graduate (B.A. in Physics and Chemistry, M.S. in Applied Mathematics for Biomechanical Systems, and PhD in fluid mechanics), all by the age of 25.

During her last year, she co-developed and co-lectured a revamped course on mathematical modeling for real-life problems – a precursor to what is now “data science.”

After 15 years in scientific research and academia, Ann realized that the most innovative scientific discovery will become increasingly funded by the private sector. So, she left academia to learn about business.

For the next 5 years, she worked her way from a big data science expert leading small teams at Majestic Research and at Riot Games to leading analytic growth teams at Silicon Valley startups.

For the last 8 years, Ann has worked in venture capital, most recently as a General Partner at Bullpen Capital, pushing the adoption of big data to open up the aperture of deal sourcing.

She has invested in or advised 30+ companies from Series Seed+ or A onward (current total valuation of $3B+ with 4 valued at over $500M and 5 at over $100M).
