Thankful for my new herd at PrimeLending for embracing the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion with a Diversity Momentum Council, and for honoring Black History Month. We all know when it comes around; Netflix changes recommended shows, we see the posts on social media. Today I got a better appreciation of what it really means. From our featured team-member speakers, I was struck by the gains each generation ahead of them made and how they provided more and more opportunity, and how they plan to pay that forward for the generations to come. They all talked about not taking what we have for granted. I encourage you to have a way to learn more about Black History Month and reach out to someone and learn from them! I’ll end with their parting pearls of wisdom:
