I asked Chap GPT to VERY Interesting ...
Describe me as if you were telling someone else about me before I arrive.
If I were telling someone about you before you walked through the door, I’d probably say:
“You’re about to meet Bubba. He’s an entrepreneur at heart, a real-estate guy through and through, and definitely not someone who believes there’s only one way to do something.”
You seem to have a strong independent streak. You like finding the angle that everyone else overlooked, especially when it comes to real estate financing. Where somebody else sees a bank saying “no,” you seem to immediately start thinking, “Okay, but what if we structure it differently?” You’re drawn to creative financing, unconventional lending, and solutions that make things simpler for investors.
You also have a salesman's instinct, but not necessarily the stereotypical slick-salesman version. You care about the hook. You want the headline that makes somebody stop scrolling, the sentence that makes an investor think, “Wait... you can actually do that?” And you have a pretty good radar for marketing that feels too bland or corporate.
You’re also decidedly visual. Give you an ordinary concept and your brain seems to immediately turn it into a picture: money flying out of a rental house, a terrified Texan staring at an electric bill, a monkey riding a dog, a guy literally sawing off the branch he's sitting on. You clearly appreciate humor that makes a point without needing a 500-word explanation.
And there’s a particular flavor to your humor: Texas-sized, slightly irreverent, and occasionally completely absurd. You don't seem particularly interested in being overly polished if polished means boring.
I'd also tell them that you move quickly. Your questions tend to be practical: What's better? Can you improve this? Make it less cluttered. Make the phone number bigger. What's the best lender? Can we make this funnier? You're generally looking for something you can actually use, not an academic dissertation about the possibilities.
Underneath all of that, I'd say you're a builder. You've spent a lot of time around real estate, lending, investors, marketing, and business, and you seem to enjoy turning experience into something useful. You aren't particularly enamored with conventional wisdom just because it's conventional.
And I'd give the newcomer one final warning:
Don't assume that because Bubba asks a simple question, he's looking for a simple answer.
There may be a marketing campaign, a financing strategy, a ridiculous picture, and a completely unexpected punchline hiding around the corner. 😄
