Edward Jones - Financial Advisor: Jaclyn Wangen

Edward Jones - Financial Advisor: Jaclyn Wangen I am a proud, second-generation financial advisor with Edward Jones. We enjoy taking weekend trips, golfing, spending time with our family and cooking together.

I began my career working alongside my father, and soaking in knowledge from his 30-plus years in the industry. Prior to joining Edward Jones, I attended the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business and marketing, and a minor in management. In 2016, I jumped at the opportunity to move back to my hometown and open the firm's fourth branch office in Au

stin. I am married to my husband, Tony, and we look forward to building our life and family together here in Austin where we both grew up. I have served as a Chamber Ambassador and was honored to serve as Ambassador President in 2020. I was also named the 2020 Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year. I was a founding board member of Connecting Young Professionals, a professional and social network to attract and retain quality professionals to our area, a mentor for students in the CEO Program, and currently serve on the St. Olaf Church Finance Committee. At Edward Jones, I have volunteered as the team captain for the financial advisors in Austin and served as the chair for the Austin/Albert Lea Walk to End Alzheimer's. Edward Jones is the National Presenting Sponsor for the walk, as many of our clients, friends and family members have been affected by the disease. Whether your goal is to retire early, educate your children, manage your income in retirement or to save money on taxes, I will work to understand what is most important to you. Getting to know my clients through complex phases of life and seeing them achieve their goals is the most rewarding part of being a financial advisor.

Inflation has trended lower, supporting the case for the Federal Reserve to keep policy rates steady. While the path back to the Fed's inflation target may not be perfectly smooth, strong earnings, healthy economic growth and resilient consumer spending continue to help support market strength.

The S&P 500 reached new highs as several key market headwinds began to ease. While record levels can make investors hesitant, history suggests that all-time highs have often been followed by continued gains, with long-term returns comparable to, or even better than, investing on a typical trading day.*

The Federal Reserve held rates steady as earnings from four Magnificent 7 companies led to mixed market reactions, suggesting that investors increasingly want evidence that AI spending is translating into durable revenue and earnings growth. While interest rates may remain higher for longer, resilient economic growth, strong corporate earnings and broader participation across sectors continues to support equities.

Brian Therien, Investment Strategist, explains what this means and how this could impact investors in the latest Weekly Market Wrap.
