There are differences:
1. Home Insurance
2. Flood Insurance

They are not one in the same. We preach this to our customers everyday, yet some people just don't purchase number 2 because they are not in a "high risk area."
Just because you are not does not mean your home will not flood, as we can see. My heart breaks for all the people dealing with this because they probably had no idea.
