ICYMI: Texas Bankers Association President & CEO Chris Furlow was interviewed by WBAP subsequent to Governor Greg Abbott's declaration that Texas has become America's new financial capital during TBA's 141st Annual Convention last month.

This announcement coincides with Texas surpassing New York in employment within the financial services sector (excluding insurance and real estate). Over the past decade, the industry has experienced more rapid growth in Texas than in New York.

“This is no longer Texas becoming America’s financial services capital. You’re seeing it happen right before our eyes,” Furlow said.
