I’m frustrated. It's challenging when appointments are canceled or rescheduled, especially now! There is limited time to help people with their annual Medicare and Marketplace health insurance reviews. The system’s deadlines—October 15th to December 7th for Medicare and November 1st to January 15th limit the number of people that can be helped.

While unforeseen circumstances happen, each last-minute reschedule wastes time and takes away the opportunity for at least two other people to receive help (the one who could have been seen during the original appointment and another person who could have been seen during the newly requested rescheduled time).

We send multiple reminders over several days to ensure there’s plenty of time to reschedule in advance if necessary. Despite this, I've had several instances over the past couple of weeks where requests to reschedule came within hours of the scheduled time, as the scheduled appointment was beginning, or even AFTER the original appointment was missed.

I can't really say what I want to say here, so I'll try it this way... imho if an appointment is made, it should be kept not only out of respect for the person's time that's been requested but out of the recognition that other people are being blocked from receiving the help they need.
