In my 16 years of experience in the payment processing industry, I have found that the vast majority of customers who have chosen my services have done so for the following reasons:
1. Customer Service: They wanted to know they mattered and weren't just another "account." Does your merchant service provider know you by name?
2. Integrity: Do you find yourself having second thoughts about your service provider?
3. Clarity: They simply wanted to know what kind of service they could expect.
4. Costs: This comes last because many providers can save you money, yet few can deliver on all four areas combined!
