65 backpacks to celebrate 65 years of serving our community!

Thank you to everyone who donated and helped us send local students back to school ready for a great year. We’re grateful to celebrate this milestone by continuing to give back to the community that has supported The District since 1961.

Our 65th Anniversary Celebration continues on Wednesday, August 12, and we'd love to see you at any of our branches.

Stop by, say hello to our team, bring the kiddos for some back-to-school fun, or pick up a complimentary lunch bag with snacks and District swag after school while supplies last. Kids can also enjoy a coloring activity, guess the number of pencils for a chance to win a prize, and take home a complimentary SMARTY book and District sticker.

Back-to-school season is here! We had an incredible time at the Aurora Public Schools Back-to-School Event helping students and families get ready for a successful school year.

From filling backpacks to sharing how students can get paid for good grades, we loved connecting with our community and showing families how The District Credit Union can support their financial journey, today and for years to come.

Here’s to a school year filled with learning, growth, and success. We can’t wait to see what our students accomplish!

🎒✏️ Help us make back-to-school a little easier for local families!

We’re still accepting school supply donations as we work toward filling 65 backpacks for students in our community. Every notebook, pencil, and pack of crayons helps a child start the school year with confidence.
