Last week, KV Federal Credit Union's Outstanding Teacher Award program recognized another incredible educator making a difference in our communities! 🍎✨

Sara had the honor of presenting the second of three 2026 Outstanding Teacher Awards to Kristen Bullard, Pre-K teacher at Lawrence Primary School in Benton. Kristen was awarded $1,000 in recognition of her outstanding impact on her students, families, and community.

Kristen was nominated twice, and the praise from her nominators speaks volumes about the difference she makes every day:

💙 Today is CU Kind Day! 💙

CU Kind Day is an annual celebration of the credit union philosophy of "People Helping People," bringing together credit union employees, members, and volunteers to make a positive impact in their communities.

To honor the day, Team KV came together to pack 100 Bags of Hope for unhoused individuals in our local communities. These bags will be distributed to the Augusta Overnight Emergency Warming Center and the Mid-Maine Homeless Shelter and are filled with everyday essentials, including hygiene items, snacks, and a heartfelt note of hope.

We are proud to support organizations that provide vital services to our neighbors in need and grateful for the opportunity to spread a little kindness and compassion throughout our community.

We are Closed Today in Observance of Indigenous Peoples' Day.

Today, October 12th, KV Federal Credit Union is closed in observance of Indigenous Peoples' Day, a day to recognize and honor the history, cultures, contributions, and resilience of Indigenous peoples across our nation.

While our branches are closed, you can still access your accounts 24/7 through Online Banking, Mobile Banking, and our ATMs.
