📶Public Wi-Fi? Think twice.

Coffee shops, airports, hotels, and other public Wi-Fi networks are convenient, but they aren't always secure.

Avoid logging into financial accounts or entering sensitive information while using public Wi-Fi. If you must connect, consider using a trusted VPN or wait until you're on a secure network.

Convenience shouldn't come at the cost of your security.

We are aware that some members are receiving phone calls from a number that appears to be Capital Area Federal Credit Union. Please be aware that these are spoofing calls and are not from us.

⚠️ If you receive one of these calls, simply hang up.

🔒 Never give out your confidential or personal information to anyone unless you are certain who you are speaking with.

If you receive a suspicious call or are unsure whether a call is legitimate, hang up and call us directly here at the credit union using our official phone number.
