Walk MS Maine was more than a day of walking. It was a powerful reflection of what happens when one person builds a community around purpose.

This year, that person was Elizabeth Llewellyn. As an MS Advocate, Elizabeth brought together a large KSB team and led the way in showing what Circles of Support truly means in action. From organizing the group to helping open the event, her leadership created space for connection, visibility, and impact.

Surrounded by colleagues, friends, and the broader MS community at Southern Maine Community College, the day was a reminder that support takes many forms, and every role matters.

We are proud to stand with Elizabeth and everyone working toward a world free of MS.

It’s walk season, and we loved being part of the 2026 Maine Heart Walk this weekend!

A great day to get active, support the American Heart Association, and come together as a community. The Heart Walk helps fund lifesaving research and inspires more people to be ready to perform CPR when it matters most.

We are proud of our Kennebec Savings Bank team for showing up, supporting this important cause, and making a difference together.

Buy now, pay later. It’s a phrase that’s become part of everyday shopping, from online checkouts to in store purchases big and small. These programs can offer convenience by breaking purchases into smaller payments over time. When used thoughtfully, they may help manage short term cash flow. But convenience can also make it easier to spend more than planned if the full picture isn’t clear.

While buy now, pay later options often advertise little to no interest, missed payments, overlapping plans, or automatic withdrawals can create unexpected stress. Understanding the terms and keeping track of payments can help you stay in control. Before choosing buy now, pay later, it can be helpful to pause and consider whether the purchase fits your budget and future expenses. Even small decisions made with intention can support long term financial confidence.

At Kennebec Savings Bank, we are here to provide guidance, tools, and local expertise to help you make informed financial choices today and for the future. To learn more about using buy now, pay later wisely, click here: https://www.kennebecsavings.bank/understanding-buy-now-pay-later-programs
