Women in Business Wednesday is about spotlighting real women, real stories, and the impact they create every day.
This week meet Jenn from Omaha, Nebraska.
❓What is your name, and what business do you own or work in?
💬My name is Jenn, and I’m the owner of Jenn & Co. Contractor Operations. I provide bilingual back-office support for contractors, helping them manage follow-ups, client communication, and operations so they can stay focused on the job while their business runs smoothly behind the scenes.
❓What motivated you to pursue your path as a woman in business?
💬I grew up around entrepreneurship since my family owned a business, so I saw both the struggles and the wins firsthand. That experience stayed with me. Over time, I realized I wanted to build something of my own. Being in business has pushed me to grow in ways I didn’t expect, and it’s been empowering to see other women step into that same space with confidence.
❓What’s one lesson you’d pass on to other women in business?
💬Doubt will slow you down more than failure ever will. The biggest difference between people who grow and people who stay stuck is simple...action. You don’t need to have everything figured out; you just need to start.
❓If you could instantly master any hobby, what would it be?
💬Sewing and fashion design. I’ve always had a passion for fashion, and being able to create pieces from scratch is something I’d love to fully develop. It’s a creative outlet for me and something I see myself growing into overtime.
