There are still rumors going around that William Kidwell Bail Bonds has closed or that Billy has turned the company over to Lynn. This is absolutely not true. Billy still owns the company and is very much involved in the running of the company. He has turned over the day-to-day operation to Lynn, and we are still open. When you call our office, you should only be speaking to a female; either Lynn or the answering service lady LeeAnn. If you call any of our numbers and someone other than those 2 people answer, YOU HAVE CALLED THE WRONG AGENCY. There are some agents who will not be completely honest and just tell you Billy is not available, but they can help you. Please don't fall for any of these unethical tactics. We are still committed to offering top notch service to existing and new clients. We have E-Sign available and accept credit/debit cards and Cash App. for payment. You do not have to leave the comfort of your home. We can do everything electronically. Our office numbers are: 863-370-2077, 863-533-4057, and 863-875-6350. To our clients, there is a scam involving individuals out on bail. I have clients who received a call from someone claiming to be from our company. They told the person if they do not send $300 immediately, they will go back to jail. You will never receive a call like that from our office. If you feel something is not right, please call me!!! Unfortunately there is not much law enforcement can do because these people use an app. to spoof numbers. Other bail bond companies are having the same issue.

I had to bond the Grinch and Max tonight. Bartow PD arrested him for stealing at the Flower Cart of Bartow. The Grinch has been invited back to Flower Cart, but he has to be on his best behavior. It has come to my attention that a rumor has been going around that Kidwell Bail bonds has closed. THIS IS NOT TRUE!!! Billy has stepped back and has put Lynn in charge of running the office. Billy is alive and well, enjoying some down time in the mountains. He is still very much involved in the business. We are still located in Auburndale at 500 Berkley Rd. Regardless of what has allegedly been said, there is no other bail agents in Polk County that has "taken over" our business. We offer E-sign and take payments via Square, Cash App; or if coming in person, cash. We are available during the Labor Day weekend and will be available all day Monday. Billy is fine and the company is being ran by his step daughter, Lynn. Billy is still the owner and calls the shots. After his heart attack last year, he has just stepped back and let Lynn take the role as bail agent. We are still located in Auburndale and have the same contact numbers.
