Our first-ever Glow Fore Good was a huge success, raising $5,700 for the Maine Credit Unions' Campaign for Ending Hunger!

We couldn't have asked for better weather or a better turnout for our first year. It was incredible to see so many people come together for a fun night while supporting an important cause in our communities.

A huge thank you to our sponsors who helped make this event possible:

And, of course, thank you to everyone who played, volunteered, donated, and helped spread the word. We are so grateful for the support that made our first Glow Fore Good one to remember.

Congratulations to Shawna, winner of our hot air balloon ride for two at the Lewiston-Auburn Balloon Festival!

We received so many creative answers, but Shawna's idea rose to the top: Maine's HOPEFUL sign! We loved the idea of seeing such a recognizable Maine symbol and its message of hope floating high above the festival.

Congratulations, Shawna! We hope you have an unforgettable view from the sky this weekend.

We asked you to help us recognize 5 incredible Maine teachers. Then the nominations started coming in... and we knew five just wasn't going to be enough.

You nominated 99 different teachers from across Maine, sharing story after story about educators who give so much to their students and classrooms.

Instead of five teachers, we're surprising NINE teachers with $500 each in classroom supplies from their Amazon Wish Lists!

To every teacher who was nominated, thank you for everything you do. And to everyone who took the time to tell us about an educator who has made a difference, thank you for helping us celebrate some pretty incredible people.

A lot has changed since 1985, but for the past 41 years, one thing has remained constant at Dirigo: Kim. 💙

Today, we celebrate Kim as she officially retires after an incredible career with our credit union.

Kim helped build our Card Services department from the ground up, growing it over the years into the team we know today. Her knowledge, dedication, and commitment to our members have left a lasting mark on Dirigo, and saying goodbye after 41 years certainly isn't easy.

Before her last day, we sat down with Kim to look back on her career, some of the changes she's seen along the way, and a few of her favorite memories.

Scroll through to hear from Kim and help us wish her a very happy retirement!

Kim, thank you for 41 remarkable years. You will be sorely missed, and we hope retirement brings you plenty of time to enjoy everything you've worked so hard for.
