Well I'm a little miffed to say the least. These ppl called me....to ask if I wanted to sign on with them early in the year. The woman said they'd be up and running in California in May or June. Well, it's July and I have still not gotten a sign-on (login) with them.
I hope I don't lose my current clients to other agents that WERE allowed to sign on.
I really want to see if this company will do better (price-wise) than a DIC + California Fair Plan. That is what she was selling me on. I'm still waiting.

Hey, I just want to apologize to those who wanted a quote from me from a carrier that said they would launch May or June. Then they told me June 1st....then I find out that because I moved away from California that I am now last to board that new carrier and quote. I'm miffed to say the least.

Well, I checked and the new insurance is out for California. I had to sign up as a new agent to get on to their site (of course today is Sunday), but I'm sure by tomorrow I will be able to get in and start quoting.
Can't wait to see if they are going to be better/less expensive than having the California Fair Plan and a DIC policy. Fingers crossed we will have something better to offer.

Hey y'all, I got a call from a new carrier out of Florida who is starting up in California this month or June. I'm told that they will provide one policy...no California Fair Plan needed. I told them I'd give it a try an I put a post our on Next Door. I'm going to quote some of my current clients and see if it is less than the two policies they are now having to buy (DIC, Fire). WE WILL SEE. Stay tuned.

Hey everyone out in the Sierra Foothills who has 2 insurance policies, a DIC and the California Fair Plan. Coming in May or June there is a new insurer coming to California and I can't wait to do some quoting to see if they are less expensive (having just one policy) than your two policies combined.
