After graduating with a bachelor's degree in accounting from Auburn University, I spent the first 20 years of my career in financial management and consumer/mortgage lending. What matters most to me is understanding what is important to my clients. Using an established process, I build personalized financial strategies that are tailored to my clients' unique goals. Once the strategies are implemen
ted, I maintain regular contact with my clients to inform them of any developments and address any needs or changes in their situations. In order to provide a comprehensive financial strategy, I regularly collaborate with my clients' CPAs, attorneys and other trusted professionals. I regularly work with individuals and families with complex needs and goals. Many of my clients are multigenerational families with whom I develop strategies for wealth transfer. Growing up in a single-mother household, I witnessed my mother work as many as three jobs to support our family. That experience shaped my passion for helping women facing major life transitions, including widowhood and divorce. I am honored that these women look to me for guidance as their trusted financial partner. Within Edward Jones, I currently serve as a regional leader and have held numerous other leadership roles. Outside of the firm, I have served on several volunteer boards. I am especially passionate about women's issues and have supported local breast cancer and Alzheimer's Associations events. In my free time, I enjoy home renovation projects, antiquing and spending time at various sporting events with my family
