A good reminder of the impact agriculture and ranching has in our community.

Proud to have partnered with many generations of farmers and ranchers since 1914.

Thank you for supporting your local salebarn! In a small community, a livestock market is more than just a place for business – it’s a lifeline that supports economic vitality, fosters connections, and strengthens the town’s fabric.
1. Economic Boost 💰
Job Creation: Markets provide employment opportunities directly and indirectly (e.g., market staff, trucking, veterinary services).
Increased Revenue: Brings buyers, sellers, and spectators into the community, spending at local businesses like gas stations, cafes, and bars.
Tax Contribution: Generates revenue for local and state taxes, supporting infrastructure and public services.
2. Social Connection 🤝
Community Hub: A sale barn becomes a gathering place for people who live miles apart, fostering friendships and neighborly support.
Shared Knowledge: Encourages exchange of ideas, advice, and innovations in ranching and agriculture.
Tradition & Heritage: Keeps the culture and history of rural life alive.
3. Sustained Agriculture 🐃
Support for Ranchers: Provides a reliable venue for buying and selling livestock, ensuring fair prices and market access.
Supply Chain Strength: Feeds into the larger agricultural economy, connecting small communities to national and global markets.
4. Community Resilience 🌾
Keeps Small Towns Vibrant: A busy market attracts traffic, keeping small communities active and relevant.
Emergency Network: Offers a support system during challenging times, such as droughts or market fluctuations.
5. Education & Awareness 📚
Inspires Future Generations: Kids and young adults learn about agriculture, livestock, and the value of community.
Teaches Responsibility: Many 4-H and FFA members use the market to sell their project animals, learning about business and hard work.
A livestock market isn’t just an asset for ranchers; it’s the heartbeat of a small community, ensuring economic stability and fostering a sense of togetherness.
