A Financial Coach works with clients to set clear financial goals by providing guidance and education on the financial basics: Budgeting, Saving and Debt Management. Unlike a Financial Advisor, who deals with your money’s behavior, a Financial Coach deals with your behavior with money and the decision-making process. It's the start of a new week, the first full week of 2025. Okay, over the past few days, how many times have you written 2024? Just as it takes a new year to get into a new habit, like writing 2025, starting any habit takes something new. Maybe that means you set a new goal. Is there a small financial goal that you want to achieve; build an emergency fund, pay off some debt, build some savings? What is one thing (habit) that you can start doing to help you attain that goal? Why not jot down a list of things that you can do to reach your goal and write the reason why for each one. You don't have to do them all at once. Start with one, even a small one. If you start small, it is more likely to be manageable, consistent and you would have a greater feeling of accomplishment.
