Career Day in the Central North Market was bigger than just talking about jobs. It was about relationships, networking, and understanding that your story matters.

Spent time with great partners discussing how business is really built — through trust, consistency, communication, and the ability to connect with people. Your résumé may open the door, but your character, work ethic, and story are what keep opportunities coming.

One of the biggest lessons for people: don’t be afraid to share your journey. The setbacks, the lessons, the wins, and the growth all matter. Your network grows when people understand who you are, what you stand for, and how you can bring value to others.

Appreciate everyone who took the time to pour into the next generation today. Relationships still matter.

If you want to be great at something, you have to respect the work that comes with it.

Too many people want control over the outcome of their career without mastering the process it takes to earn it.

You don’t get to dictate how your career goes just because you have talent, goals, or opinions.

You earn that through preparation, consistency, and doing the little things other people avoid.

Showing up early.
Being prepared.
Studying your craft.
Taking coaching.
Improving details nobody applauds.
Staying disciplined when motivation disappears.

That’s the difference.

Most people want the rewards of being great.
Very few want the routine that comes with it.

Great careers are usually built on small habits repeated over and over again when nobody is watching.

Do the work other people won’t do, and eventually you’ll have opportunities other people won’t have.

Originally from Utica, NY, Noah began his mortgage career in Denver, CO where he was with Pulte Mortgage as a loan originator for 6 years.
He takes pride in his responsiveness, transparency and approachability to perspective home buyers and is excited to implement this strategy with Chase. His goal is to be a reliable resource to our team and clients.

In his free time, Noah stays active in the community as a mountain biking coach for 6th – 12th graders at Sope Creek in Marietta, GA.
He will also take anyone up on an opportunity for a snowboard/ski trip during the winter as he hasn’t made it out to the slopes since leaving Colorado.

Noah is getting married to his finance, Christine, in July of this year. Although Christine will change her last name to Jones, her cat, Suzie, has not yet decided if she is ready for that name change commitment (even though he has been there since adoption).
Their other cat, Randall has fully committed to being a Jones from the start.

Noah is very much looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Supporting the People You Lead — At Work, At Home, and In Life

One thing I’ve learned about leadership:

It doesn’t turn off.

You’re leading your team, your family, and your friendships, whether you realize it or not.

Real support is a balance of four things: challenge, support, delegation, and clarity.

Too much pressure without support creates distance.
Too much support without challenge creates stagnation.
No delegation creates dependence.
No clarity creates confusion.

Strong leaders balance all four.

Challenge people so they grow.
Support them so they feel secure.
Delegate so they develop ownership.
Clarify so they can execute with confidence.

In business, that’s performance.
At home, that’s stability.
In friendships, that’s trust.

Leadership isn’t about doing everything yourself.
It’s about building people who can.

The Power of a Strong Network

Your network isn’t just about who you know.
It’s about who trusts you.

A strong network can open doors, create opportunities, and accelerate your growth—but it doesn’t happen by accident. It’s built, maintained, and leveraged with intention.

1. Growing Your Network

Building a network isn’t about collecting contacts.

It’s about building real relationships.

Show up consistently.
Add value before you ask for anything.
Be someone people respect, not just someone they remember.

The strongest networks are built on authenticity, not transactions.

2. Maintaining Your Network

This is where most people fall off.

They only reach out when they need something.

Strong networks are maintained through consistency.

Check in without an agenda.
Support others’ wins.
Be present even when there’s nothing to gain.

Relationships don’t break overnight—they fade from neglect.

3. Leveraging Your Network

This is where people get uncomfortable, but it matters.

A strong network is meant to be used—but used the right way.

Leverage isn’t about taking.
It’s about alignment.

When you’ve built real relationships, people want to help you.
Because they know you’ve shown up for them too.

That’s the difference between a contact list and a true network.

In business, in life, and even in sports—no one succeeds alone.

The rooms you’re in matter.
The people around you matter.
The relationships you build matter.

Because the right network doesn’t just change your opportunities.

It changes your trajectory.

Life has taken me from the hardwood to the boardroom—and every step in between has shaped who I am today.

My journey didn’t start early or perfect. I came to the game late—as a rising ninth grader. By tenth grade, I had quit. But something in me said there was more… and the people around me believed it too. My mother and my closest friends saw something in me before I fully saw it in myself—and that belief helped carry me forward.

From there, the path took me to St. John’s… then to Duke. Along the way, I became a young father at 19—real responsibility, real perspective, real motivation. Soon after, I heard my name called on draft night and stepped into the NBA.

But life doesn’t move in straight lines. Injuries, transitions, and new chapters followed—coaching, real estate, and now leading in business. Every phase required me to evolve, stay disciplined, and keep pushing forward.

Basketball taught me discipline.
Adversity taught me resilience.
Fatherhood taught me purpose.
Business taught me strategy.

But above everything—I’m most proud of the life I’ve built at home. I love my family. My wife Tiffani, my sons Anthony and Roman, and my daughter Anisa—they are my why, my foundation, and my greatest motivation.

Today, I’m focused on creating opportunities—for families, for communities, and for the next generation coming behind me. Whether it’s through lending, leadership, or storytelling, everything I do is about building something that lasts.

Your journey won’t always go as planned. Mine didn’t.
But if you stay committed, stay disciplined, and keep evolving—you’ll still win.
