What does God say about chasing money?

Proverbs 23:4 says, “Don’t wear yourself out trying to get rich. Be wise enough to know when to quit.”

What God wants for us is to be content with what we have. Sure more money will come, but we need not get lost on an endless chase of money.

You’ll never feel like you have enough money if you don’t establish what contentment looks like in your life.

A budget is just a financial word for a plan for your spending before your income is spent.

Where there is no plan, there is no direction or limit for you spending. So you’ll find yourself consistently overspending and asking yourself, “Where did all my money go?”

Every month of life comes with different expenses, so you should make a habit of creating a new budget by the first of every new month.
