It's not the end. It's an evolution. We couldn't be prouder of the amazing creative community we were able to be a part of in this space. There are lots of exciting things ahead! Stay safe! To Our Nova House Family,

As the Entertainment Industry enters a new phase of existence, we have recognized that we will need to change with it. At this time we would like to announce that Audition Tapings at Nova House will be suspended indefinitely.

AJ & Gillian are working on a very exciting plan to bring Nova House into a new form of existence to match the new normal of our world. They cannot wait to be able to share more with you all.

In the meantime, the space itself is still available for space rentals. Please feel free to contact us at [email protected] to inquire about renting space. This includes using our space to film, have a meeting, or any other group activity you could imagine using our creative space for (as long as your event will operate in accordance with the current CDC Guidelines).

Thank you for being a part of our family and community. We love each and every one of you, and the past three years has been an unbelievable experience for us.

The mission of the Atlanta Artist Solidarity March is to bring awareness to the unjust treatment of black people in this country and bring attention to the many injustices experienced by black artists in Atlanta. Standing side by side with our arts leaders, fellow artists, and community as a whole we strive to evoke change. At a time when our country is crippled by the fallout of tragedy, our goal is to unify our arts community through forward thinking, courageous leadership and collaboration. We aim to create an artistic work environment for today’s black theatre artist that is safe, nurturing and an accurate representation of our community.

At this time, Nova House will be extending its closure through Monday April 6th in conjunction with the "Shelter in Place" executive orders the Mayor of Atlanta announced last night which will remain in place for 14 days through April 6th.

While almost all productions have come to a halt during this time, we still want to be available to help our community with the auditions they are getting in a SAFE manner to all. We are able to offer a reader/coaching via Facetime or Skype during this time AND editing if you wetransfer the raw files to us. We will be offering it at a pay each time pricing, specifically to cover the cost of your coach for their time.

We are NOT able to apply Full Service Taping Memberships to this online service, but note that all memberships currently on hold will be credited back to you once we re-open for in-person self-tapes.
We have spoken to casting, and they recognize that the quality of self-tapes will be different during our nation's time of social distancing due to Covid-19, so don't be afraid if you don't have the perfect set up at home. Please feel free to reach out with questions on how to set yourself up for success to self-tape in quarantine without making additional purchases.

What does this closure mean for my current paid membership?
We will be putting memberships ON HOLD starting Tuesday 3/17, and will restart them the date we re-open for business. Meaning, if you have 10 days left of membership on 3/17, when we re-open you will still have 10 days left of membership.

Good Afternoon,

In response to the current situation with the Covid-19 Virus & the amount of productions shutting down, the owners of Nova House have decided to temporarily close down from Tuesday 3/17-Tuesday 3/24. Between now and March 24th, we will be monitoring this situation closely.

What if I have an audition I currently need to tape?
We will be opening up space as needed on Monday, and AJ has agreed to tape as late as needed on Monday evening to make sure everyone can get their current auditions finished before Tuesday.

What does this mean for my current paid membership?
We will be putting memberships ON HOLD starting Tuesday 3/17, and will restart them the date we re-open for business. Meaning, if you have 10 days left of membership on 3/17, when we re-open you will still have 10 days left of membership. PLEASE KNOW--this will have a huge financial impact on our small business. If you are able & willing to pay for your membership during our closed period, please let us know. We appreciate your generosity, as our bills do not stop when the tapings stop.

What if I get an audition while Nova House is closed?
If you are able to, we are willing to provide a reader & coaching via facetime and/or skype. Please EMAIL [email protected] to request scheduling this. We will deduct 1 day of membership for each day you tape in this manner during our closed time.
