COMMUNITY SERVICE AND BONDING EVENT!

It's been a fun filled day of community service and bonding for our D.I.V.A.S. in the D.I.V.A.S. of Destiny Girls Mentoring Program!

We partnered with Open Hands Atlanta to deliver meals to those with chronic illnesses and unable to do for themselves! We ended our day with food, fun, fellowship, skating and bowling!

And as we served to be a blessing to others, God allowed one recipient to turn around and bless us with an unexpected financial donation..... TOTALLY UNEXPECTED!🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

God is Good all the time!

Today was a GREAT DAY with D.I.V.A.S.!

Our topic of discussion was negative emotional baggage and how it affects our self-esteem. Feelings of inadequacy, unworthiness, feeling ugly or unattractive, negative body image, comparing ourselves to others were all the things expressed.

We turned those negatives to positives with an "I AM" discussion activity and discovered many more positives to reverse the negative emotions we so often wrestle with!

Very positive and productive meeting, we not only affirmed ourselves but our sisters in D.I.V.A.S. too. Developing positive lasting bonds that will last forever!💗🖤💗🖤💗

On yesterday, the D.I.V.A.S. of Destiny Girls Mentoring Program held its first meeting of the 2019/20 Season!

Our meeting was a successful one!

Our theme for this season is “Securing the Bag” and we discussed the tools needed to get rid of the negative content of the emotional bo***ge that hinders is from being our best selves and discovering our own personal God given Destiny!

We are excited about our continuous discussions and activities that will take place this season and would love to empower your, daughters, nieces, cousins, sisters and friends!

We have a few more spaces available and open enrollment ends on October 31, 2019.

D.I.V.A.S. IS BACK!!!!🗣🗣🗣🗣

D.I.V.A.S. of Destiny Girls Mentoring Program has been on hiatus for a minute, BUT.....we are back in stride and ready to roll in to a new season!

Registration starts today and will end on October 31, 2018! We are now recruiting new mentees, mentors as well as volunteer staff to help serve our girls.

"Open Enrollment at D.I.V.A.S. of Destiny"

D.I.V.A.S. of Destiny finished up another awesome season on last month! We are truly amazed at all of our accomplishments and the growth we witnessed in and through our D.I.V.A.S. We learned a great deal from one another through loving, accepting, nurturing and bonding.

We are now accepting applications for new mentees for our next season, girls ages 10-17 are encouraged to apply and join us. Registration begins TODAY and will end on 11/15/17. D.I.V.A.S. of Destiny ended its 5th season this past Saturday with our annual Hot Pink and Black Party.

We honored ALL of or D.I.V.A.S. for their hard work and dedication throughout season 5 at school, in the community and here at D.I.V.A.S.!

We also celebrated in grand fashion 4 of our c/o 2017 graduates by giving out D.O.D.'s VERY FIRST scholarships to each D.I.V.A.S. in this graduating class!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 They were also each showered with a college essentials gift basket and personalized memorialized frames!

Jaida, Jamiria, Jameriah and Felicia, we are all so very proud of you and know you will all do awesome in the next chapter of your lives. We look forward to your success stories and coming back to serve your fellow D.I.V.A.S. who you have now passed the torch on to so beautifully!

A FUN day with our D.I.V.A.S.!

We had an awesome time hanging out with our beautiful D.I.V.A.S. on yesterday! What a way to end Spring Break week. They bowled, ate and did what the loved most SHOPPED til they dropped!

Our bonding activities are always the best!
