Along with an increased interest in estate planning as a result of pandemic concerns, there has been more interest in long term care (LTC) related issues. People are more aware that not only long term care may be required at some point in their lives, but that it may also be needed sooner than later. However, for many years there have been a widespread misunderstandings about LTC in general. One is the assumption this type of personal care primarily is delivered in a nursing home or an assisted living residence. In fact, the majority of benefit claims paid by insurers more recently are for home care. What are your questions or concerns about LTC?

The pandemic made significant changes in both the demand and supply of policies.
