Black Business Month Spotlight: Meet Sonia Williams, the Shugga Mama behind Shugga Sweets. Her first cake was a disaster. Half stayed in the pan. She cried her eyes out. But she didn't give up. She kept going. She experimented. She perfected her craft.

Then one day, a customer called and said: "Your cupcakes helped me through losing someone I love." That's when Sonia knew Shugga Sweets was about more than dessert. It was about spreading joy.

During COVID, she made a bold move. Bought a food truck. Took Shugga Sweets to Atlanta's streets. Now she's everywhere, one red velvet crumb at a time.
