t of questions about their needs, and trying to find the loan program that best meets those needs. The aspect of my job that I enjoy most is connecting with my clients on a variety of levels. I always want them to look at me as their friend as well as their advisor. Having bought and sold a few homes while raising my family, I understand that people’s needs are different depending on the stage of their lives they are in. What has made me successful is my ability to recognize this among other needs a family might have and marry those needs together so that they purchase the home that serves their needs as well as surpasses their desires for a great home. For many years, I have and continue to lead a quarterly Home Buyers Academy. This is a two hour class is for potential homebuyers and walks them through the process of buying, building and financing a new home. I strongly believe that educating a potential homebuyer empowers them to make a better buying decision and puts them at ease in the purchasing process. It has been my pleasure to serve many families through this class. Over the years, I have developed an in-depth knowledge of new homes and condominiums. Since joining the Greater Atlanta Homebuilders Association, I have served on a variety of HBA councils and committees, most notably HBA’s Sales and Marketing Council and the Builder/Developer/Lender Council. I am also honored to serve on the Board of HomeAid Atlanta, the non-profit arm of the HBA, which provides transitional housing for temporarily homeless families. My involvement with HBA has only proved to further my expertise and extend my reach to help families in all economic arenas. Being a native New Yorker, my husband and I have called the Atlanta area home for the past 30 years. We enjoy everything the city has to offer, but with the warm feeling of a small town. There is a flavor that Atlanta offers that you can’t get anywhere else that’s why I’m proud to live, work and play here.
