CGM Insurance Agency, Inc. CGM Insurance Agency is a full service Independent Retail Agency- we sell Worker's Compensation, General Liability, Home, Auto, Business and Bonds

We have a passion for helping people, and found that helping them with Insurance was something we do really well. After being in the Insurance Industry for over 20 years my wonderful husband and business partner, decided it was time to open our own Independent Agency. With the my husbands background in Administration and my knowledge of Insurance we want to help small to midsize business owners. We don't shy away from helping someone who is a start up, everyone starts somewhere. My parents where small business owners as are a lot of our family members and immigrants to the US so we wanted to help that particular segment which is many times overlooked. I see a lot of others in my industry taking advantage of the small business or immigrant business owner, so we want to do it different and put all this knowledge we've acquired over the years to giving back. We're driven by faith and truly feel this is our calling.

🏆 1ST PLACE! Our own Joe Gayle, co-owner of CGM, took the win in the Air Cooled class at the Battle of Champions in Las Vegas! 🏁

Fresh out of retirement and straight to the top of the podium, with Brandon Quaid right behind him in 2nd for a 1-2 finish for Quaid Racing Team. And his dad was right there in the pits to see it.

Is your porch ready for trick-or-treaters? 🎃 Four quick checks:

✅ Clear steps and walkways, with no cords or decorations in the path.
✅ Use LED lights in pumpkins instead of candles.
✅ Turn the porch light on and fix loose steps or railings.
✅ Keep pets inside.

If someone gets hurt on your property, homeowners liability usually helps, but preventing the fall is better.

✅ Despeje escalones y banquetas, sin cables ni decoraciones en el camino.
✅ Use luces LED en las calabazas en lugar de velas.
✅ Encienda la luz del porche y repare escalones flojos o barandales.

His last race was with the Bagger Racing League in November 2024, where he brought home 2nd place. 🏆 Now No. 507 is back on the grid, racing for , run by one of his best friends, , alongside teammate .

¿El seguro del dueño cubre sus cosas? 🏠 Normalmente no. La póliza del dueño protege el edificio, no sus muebles, su ropa ni su laptop.

Si una fuga del vecino de arriba, un robo o un incendio daña sus cosas, necesita su propio seguro de inquilino. Muchas pólizas de inquilino también incluyen responsabilidad civil si alguien se lastima en su casa, y gastos de vivienda temporal si tiene que salir mientras reparan.

Why is restaurant insurance so expensive right now? 🤔 If your renewal went up this year, you're not alone. Here's what's driving it:

1️⃣ Lawsuits cost more. Jury awards and legal costs keep climbing, so even a simple slip-and-fall can turn into a big claim.
✅ What helps: keep floors dry, mats down, and write up every incident the same day.

2️⃣ Liquor liability is a hard market. Fewer insurance companies want to write bars and restaurants that serve alcohol, and less competition means higher prices.
✅ What helps: get your staff alcohol-server certified and keep a written cut-off policy. Underwriters notice.

3️⃣ Repairs cost more. Materials, labor and kitchen equipment all cost more to replace, so property coverage costs more too.
✅ What helps: check that your building and equipment values are current, and keep fire suppression and hood cleaning up to date.

MITO: «Mi póliza de casa o de negocio cubre inundaciones.»
REALIDAD: Normalmente no. 🌧️ La mayoría de las pólizas de casa y de negocio NO cubren daños por inundación. Para eso existe un seguro de inundación aparte, y muchas de esas pólizas tienen un periodo de espera antes de entrar en vigor.

Con las tormentas recientes y un invierno de El Niño en camino, el mejor momento para revisar su cobertura es ahora, no cuando el agua ya está en la puerta.
