Today is the anniversary of Black Monday 📉

October 19, 1987: the Dow fell 508 points, or 22.6%, in ONE day. Less than two years later, the market was back above its pre-crash highs.

3 lessons I want you to take from it:
1️⃣ Don't panic sell. Selling at the bottom locks in the loss.
2️⃣ Emergency fund FIRST, so you never have to sell when the market is down.
3️⃣ Invest on a schedule, not a feeling.

39 years ago today, October 19, 1987, the stock market dropped 22.6% in ONE day. They called it Black Monday.

And less than two years later, the market was back above its old highs.

The people who panicked sold at the bottom. The people who stayed the course got it all back and then some.

Whatever dropped on you last week… stay the course. One bad day is not your whole story.
