For todayโ€™s Credit Tip Tuesday, we are going to revisit โ€œover-extending your creditโ€ due to the amount of consultations we have received lately regarding this subject. You do not want to over -extend your credit because you want to be able to manage it. Several things play into this:

1) Paying it back on-time
2) Managing your DTI
3) Maintaining your DTI

Yes itโ€™s great having many credit options and lines of credit. However, run your own race, maintain and manage what you can. Itโ€™s ok to not keep up with the Jonesโ€™.
