I’m happy to share that I’ve obtained a new certification: Retirement Income Certified Professional® from The American College of Financial Services!

Retirement is one of the biggest most important financial events we will all go through! I obtained this certificate to make sure I serve my clients at the highest level to ensure their retirement is financially secure and fulfilling. One of my colleagues loves to say everyday should be Saturday when you retire. He is absolutely right but it takes planning to make that happen!

My firm prides itself on giving advice that's backed in research and science. Obtaining this certificate ensure we are continuing in that promise.

"Time is money and if you're trying to do everything yourself, you may be hurting your business instead of helping it."

I would like all of my business owners to stop and read this article. Often times we find ourselves being the head of every department in our business. We end up becoming marketing, sales, finance, operations and anything else it takes to keep the doors open.

This is a sure fire way to burn yourself out as well as hurt your sales. You started the business because you were good at the core business model. That is where your skills are needed, not doing tasks you despise doing.

Build a team around you that can handle the other departments so you can focus on actually enjoying the business you started!

A few years ago I made a decision that changed the direction of my life. I finally decided to bet on me and do something I love doing. The decision to leave corporate America was a SCARY one. I was very comfortable and was progressing in my career. Although everything on the outside was great on the inside I was miserable. I didn't feel fulfilled or satisfied with what I was doing everyday.

One day I woke up and decided to do something about it. The transition took about 2 years to fully complete but I felt liberated knowing I had a plan. For those two years I worked during the day and chased my dream at night. It was exhausting but I got energy from knowing that my efforts today were getting me closer and closer to my dream. Now what I do doesn't feel like work. I love helping my clients realize their financial goals.

What are some dreams that you are putting off pursing? Ask yourself, if you had a conversation with your future self would they be disappointed that you didn't make the effort to go the extra mile?

I hope this inspires someone to always chase their dreams!

Your mindset is something that can make or break your dreams. You must be intentional about creating a positive mindset around every area in your life.

How do you keep going when it seems like nothing you are doing is working? Mindset.
How does your faith increase despite what your situation looks like? Mindset

I am a firm believer of saying money affirmations. I have posted quite a few on my page. Depending on what's going on or my current mood I say them multiple times a day. Once you say them enough you start believing them and that's when the magic happens. When you truly believe something can happen and you are willing to put the work in you drastically increase your chances of success!

Be intentional about the things that you are speaking into your life, trust me it makes a difference!
