As mothers, you must take it upon yourselves to ensure the financial success of our children and the generations to come. You must take a proactive approach by teaching our children financial literacy, setting good examples of financial responsibility, and creating an environment in which they can make smart decisions regarding their finances. By preparing them now for the future, we can ensure that they will have the necessary skills and resources to succeed financially in adulthood. Invoice reported in 2016 study Stanford University researchers identified that the mother’s voice ignited parts of the children’s brain. We may say that’s a lot to put upon someone but research has proven mothers are naturally equipped with the capabilities to achieve this challenge. According to the World Economic Forum’s Global Gender Gap Report female talent in finance still remains one of the most untapped business resources. As a society we must ask ourselves what we can contribute to make this possible because this is a war that we cannot as a society afford to lose. The lack of women financial participation faces serious repercussions that will take a toll on the next generation. So, if you are a woman this message should be forwarded to every woman you know and if you are a man, you should reach out to every woman to assist because the poverty clock is ticking.
