Weekly FaceTime meetings are extremely necessary! Iām talking 3 or 4 times a week.

As most of you know I also travel for a living. Majority of the time Iām not in Chicago for the day to day operations of my rehab. In the past, I would stress myself out trying to work my schedule in a way where I could be in town everyday to pop up on my contractors & make sure they were actually working. This time around I decided I didnāt have the energy to babysit. I let go of the reigns and Iām trusting God 100% for this to go the way we planned.
(Now granted, I may have my brother or dad go pop up occasionally because any smart business woman would but thatās besides the point stay focused š)

This week we are halfway through all plumbing and electrical work! Weāve also completed the extra work required by my architect to provide the necessary support in the ceilings (if youāve been keeping up with my YouTube videos you know what Iām referring to. If you donāt click the link in my bio! ^_^)

Once plumbing and electrical are done, Iāll have to have an inspector approve everything than itās smooth sailing from there. Getting the foundational work complete is the most difficult part of a rehab & always takes the longest in my experience. Everything else after that is cosmetic and thatās easy breezy. Dry wall, painting, cabinets, flooring, etc.. thatās always been my favorite part!! Thatās where the character and charm happens. Canāt wait!

Oh did I mention I hired a team to come out and tear my garage down! The entire back yard looks so different and Iām actually not a fan of it but it was necessary at this moment. Stay tuned Iāll be posting updates and pictures to my story this weekend!
