I think I’m going to make this a weekly thing. So you’ve been with your insurance company for 10 to 20 years, and you THINK you’re getting a good rate, but let’s be honest; you just don’t like or trust the process of giving someone your personal information, and from my professional standpoint, you don’t like to save money, so you just pay what the company gives you. Why is that? Aren’t we in a pandemic? Isn’t conserving money important to you? Hmmmmmm... Let’s analyze this from one of my recent (today) client’s experience.
I met my unnamed client last month here in Georgia at a wine tasting, she found out that I owned an insurance agency and that I’m a broker. After collecting her declarations pages (coverage pages) and a few other pieces of information, I ran the numbers, and guess what? She saved money. On her auto, she had a policy that she paid $2,800 every six months (her and her son), on her condo she paid $480 annually and on her rental property she paid roughly $1,400.
After bundling her home and auto, the auto went down to $3,400 annually, her condo was reduced to $340 annually and her rental property roughly went down to $1,040. In one swoop, I saved her over $2,000 annually. It’s better to shop rates around because we now give loyalty discounts for the time you’ve been with your current carrier, discounts for higher limits, and you save money by locking into an annual policy where you aren’t subjected to a rate increases after six month; like your standard Allstate and State Farm. So again, why are you staying with your current carrier? Convenience? Ok... Let’s shop your rates!
I’m currently in GA, NC, TN, TX & VA with more states to come in the next few weeks.
